Tom T. Hall writes songs for children, he says, because they have a lot of the same interests, including the quest for simplicity. "One day I just found that we got along great. They understood me," he says. This was delivered fast and in perfect condition. Love the album filled with happy songs.
My 2 kids grew up listening to the LP. My daughter has asked me many times if I have ever found this on CD. Is she going to be surprised next week when I give this to her. She will wear it out playing it for her small nieces.
This album brought back so many memories of my Grandmother playing the "Sneaky Snake" record on her old turntable. We used to dance and sing together. This album has the best from that album with a few added in. Tom T Hall makes music at home fun for kids of all ages.
I had a Tom T Hall record when I was little and so when I saw this I had to get it for my 2 boys. They both love it. They especially love sneaky snake. My 1-1/2 year old says "sneaky snake" when we get in the car so he can listen to the CD.
My husband actually remembers some of the songs from when he was a little guy, specially the first and second songs. Now he can enjoy singing along with these songs to our bundle of joy once he/she arrives in July. I suprised him with this CD, he could only remember the name of the songs, but I easily found the CD needed. Really how many songs out there are titled "Sneaky Snake". Definately a GREAT buy for kids to enjoy silly stories of various animals. Adults will enjoy these songs just as much.
